The 13th International Linguistics Olympiad

The 13th International Linguistics Olympiad was held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria from July 20 to July 24, 2015.

43 teams from 29 countries participated, with Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, and France sending participants for the first time.

Participants competed to solve problems on diverse languages including Nahuatl and Arammba, Kabardian, Wambaya, Somali, and Northern Sotho.

The jury awarded 46 medals (7 gold, 17 silver, and 22 bronze), as well as 31 honorable mentions, 4 team contest trophies, a team cup for highest average score, and 7 best solution prizes.
